Farallon Reserves, LLC is a private, independent oil and natural gas exploration company that specializes in the acquisition of non-operated working interest and leasehold, as well as minerals, and royalties across the Lower 48 with a primary focus in the Permian, Haynesville, Uinta, and Bakken.

Matthew founded Farallon Reserves in 2024. Prior to founding Farallon, Matthew managed an acquisitions team that deployed over $150 million and acquired 10,000+ acres across the Permian Basin and Haynesville Shale. Matthew studied Petroleum Geology at The University of Texas at Austin and Colorado School of Mines. He is currently responsible for managing Farallon's acquisition efforts, asset valuation, and investor relations.
Nick is a former landman holding both field and in-house roles, bringing over 20 years of oil & gas industry experience. For the past fifteen years, Nick has been practicing oil & gas law. Nick has tremendous experience advising clients and providing strategic counsel on oil & gas transactions. Additionally, Nick has performed complex title examinations for large publicly traded companies and small independents alike.
Billy graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Economics and a Minor in Business. He began his career acquiring oil and gas mineral interests, specifically across the Haynesville Shale, where he gained extensive experience in asset valuation and energy investments. He is currently responsible for managing Farallon's acquisition efforts, focused on sourcing, structuring, and optimizing mineral and royalty assets across the company's portfolio.
